Sublime, unique landscapes, extraordinary fauna and flora, and everywhere and always the evocation of a rich and sometimes sad historical past.

In many places, the Meuse at Hastière offers a preserved face, unique on the Belgian course of the river, where visitors can still stroll in symbiosis with the watercourse, in a bucolic natural setting rich in plant and animal species, many of them protected.

This natural setting is dotted with charming villages and two major cultural sites: the castle of Freÿr and the abbey church of Hastière-par-Delà.

The valley also offers a wide range of sporting and leisure activities, in perfect harmony with its generous natural surroundings.

The Meuse is natural and preserved, invigorating and historic, happy and delightful, young and beautiful, reflecting the serene image of the deep forests on its slopes. It’s a poem of calm waters flowing through a heroic and fascinating history.
