The Fre\u00ffr castle occupies an exceptional site, on the left bank of the Meuse, facing the famous rocks. The building, in the Renaissance-Mosan style, is flanked by gardens. The whole complex is listed as a historic monument, making it an exceptional and unique heritage site in the Haute-Meuse valley. <\/p>

Inside, the various furnished rooms bear witness to Belgium’s history.<\/p>

This remarkable garden has all the hallmarks of a “\u00e0 la fran\u00e7aise” garden. It comprises 30,000 m\u00b2 of hedges, 9 ponds, 33 orange trees and a pavilion decorated by the Moretti brothers.<\/p>
